Stars in Perpetuity

This is a gift society for the recognition of donors who have or intend to make an estate gift to the SJEF. This special group of people intend to leave a legacy for the SJUSD by including the Foundation in their will or estate planning documents.

Included are:
Donors who have made an estate gift, or Donors who intend to make an estate gift and have either done so with a verbal commitment or by presenting a portion of their estate planning documents to the Foundation.

Restricted and Unrestricted Gifts
The focus of the Foundation is on raising unrestricted gifts that comport with the mission and vision of the organization. At times, donors may wish to make a restricted gift – in these instances the Foundation Board will review the restrictions and planned disbursements on an individual basis prior to accepting the gift or upon receipt of the gift. The Foundation may refuse gifts if they are deemed too difficulty to administer or if they do not comport with Foundation goals and objectives.
